Hello everyone,
A quick one from me today featuring the old shaving foam technique for this background....after a couple of frankly rubbish attempts at it I think I got something reasonable in the end!
I am entering this into the following challenges:
The Mixed Media Card challenge, Butterflies (optional element: Gold)
Simply Create Too, Anything Goes (2nd entry)
That Craft Place, Mixed Media Anything Goes
Frilly and Funkie, Things with Wings
Decoart paints, Sheena Douglas butterfly stamp and the word is a Crafters Companion stamp.
Hope you like it

What on earth is the old shaving foam technique? (I feel like a deer but thought I could ask if you don't mind...) But besides that; I love the colors and your background looks great! Your butterfly is a fabulous focal point!
ReplyDeleteHave a great evening!

That sounds like a messy medium. But your card looks great. Dreaded purple and yellow are a great color combination.

ReplyDeleteHi Donna, it may be an old technique but it's a good one with some beautiful results to the backing of your image. Would you believe I still have to try this technique, I bought some cheap shaving foam a few years ago and it's still there stuck in the cupboard!! lol You have inspired me to try it. Thankyou for joining us at That Craft Place. Good Luck and hope to see you back again.
