Birds Of A Feather

Hello everyone,

Hope everyone is okay out there.....fingers crossed Spring will arrive at some point in the UK soon...it's freezing!!!

I now have reached the milestone ( well to me anyway) of 100 followers...a big thank you to my latest follower for making it 100. In celebration of that, I will have a little giveaway in the next week or so....so keep your eyes open for that. It will be the usual thing, become a follower and leave a comment etc ;)

Today, I have another of my recycled wood pieces for you, this time I've painted a bird perched on a cup....probably not the best idea in real life?! As this is artistic licence I can do it!

I am entering this in the following challenges:

Country view Challenges,Anything Goes

The Mirror Crack'd,Wings

A Sprinkle of Imagination,Anything Goes ( use something they sell in the shop, I've used a Tim Holtz stencil)

Simon Says Weds,Anything Goes

The Mixed Media Monthly,Birds of a Feather

Fresco Paints,Tim Holtz Latticework Stencil. Everything hand drawn and painted.

Hope you like it

  12. Congrats on your century, Donna. I love your painted bird. My Mum had a budgie that used to perch on cups - he once fell into a beaker of Ribena!

  14. Such a cute design! I wouldn't mind him perching on the edge of my mug in real life as long as he didn't drink too much of it or potty in it. **snicker**
