Hello everyone,
Hope you are all well out there and getting into the Christmas/Holiday spirit...well I've been eating Stollen and mint chocolate so I count that as being festive :)
Today I have a little canvas on a die cut cardboard tag for you. The little canvas comes from a table top easel I bought ages ago ( the ones we all use to photograph our cards and tags) and the cardboard comes from my secret little cardboard stash that has to be hidden since the other half took the whole lot once and put it in the cardboard recycling bag.....I was not amused.....cant they tell its for art purposes?!
Its really sparkly in real life as the tag and canvas have been sprayed with a combination of Cosmic Shimmers which gives it a lovely sheen. This is really not the best time of year to get the best photographs :/
I am entering this into the following challenges:
ATP Exchange,Recycle for Christmas (the tag is recycled cardboard and the little dangle at the bottom is from a broken necklace)
Inspiration Destination,Anything Goes
Stampotique Designers,SDC 176,Anything Goes,WEEK 2
The Crafters Cafe,Christmas/Holiday Season
Addicted to Stamps,Photo Inspiration........

I've used the red and gold from the photo for my inspiration.
Fresco paint,Cosmic Shimmers, promarkers, frantage, crackle accents. The main stamp is Stampotique and she has been given a set of Carabelle Stamp wings as her Christmas present :)
Hope you like it
Donna x
Now I would never have thought of putting a canvass on the cardboard - only the other way round - that's what I like about your work Donna!!! Fab tag, great colours and image and layout. Nikki xx

Another fabulous project from you, Donna! Your mini canvas is perfect atop the corrugated cardboard (your husband's raiding of your studio did make me laugh--sorry). Agatha looks gorgeous with her over-sized wings! You have put together random elements that work perfectly together. Go you! Thanks so much for participating in Week 2 of "Anything Goes" at the Stampotique Designers' Challenge!
ReplyDeleteNo, no, no! How could your other half put all your cardboard in the recycling?! I have mine lining the wall behind and under my craft table... extra insulation, no?!
ReplyDeleteLoving your quirky winged angel, and the blood red corrugated background is ultra-dramatic!
