Fluttery Butterfly


Hello everyone,


A big thanks to you all for the lovely comments you've left on my last couple of posts,its really appreciated by me ; )


I have a journal page for you today featuring lots of new goodies. The stamps are all new and so is the stencil. I thought I'd ordered a 6x6 stencil but when it turned up its a massive 12x12...still it was in the sale so no harm done!








I am entering this into the following challenges:

Simon Stamp Monday,Inky Background

ATP Exchange,Fresh Beginnings



Dylusions sprays,FC Polychromos pencils, Stabilo pencil and black micron pen,stamps are all Dina Wakley apart from the little dot stamp which is mine. The stencil is That Special Touch Of.

    This is gorgeous love all the colours. The backgrounds is really lovely. (I'm loving greensand blues at the moment). The purple pops of the page and your butterfly is so cute xx

    Gorgeous Donna! I just did exactly the same thing...ordered a stencil thinking 6x6 and got a 12x12...it doesn't fit in any of my storage areas!! HAHA!! I love your butterfly, it jumps right off the page with life!

    That's something I do also sometimes, ordering something and making a mistake in size. But well.. this one is not a mistake, it looks fabulous on your journalpage. Beautiful butterlly too, love your colorchoices too!

    At least you didn't order 2 lol. Brilliantly colourful pages and as said before that butterfly jumps out of the page. I really must brush the dust off my art journal.

    I often go for the smaller stencils but now I'm wondering why. Your 'mistake' certainly led you to create something wonderful. I love all that colour.

    Donna, you can certainly enter this page in the Stampotique Designers' Challenge this week, too, as it is all about "Color Splash!" Love, love, love your oh-so-vibrant colors here! Great use of your new stencil. I have always bought the larger stencils, but how find that I prefer the smaller ones! Are we never happy? hehe

    Amazing background. The way you have worked it through the stencil leaving the white areas makes everything on top of it look like it's floating! Fabulous.
