Mixed Media World - Stencils



Hello everyone,


Time for another challenge over at Mixed Media World, this time picked by our very lovely Georgie C and the theme is a fab one: STENCILS.
To add further to the excitement, I'm so happy to announce we have the most wonderful and generous sponsor for this challenge





For the lucky winner, the prize is 10 ATC sized stencils.........WOW!!


It's exciting times over at  Thats Crafty! as Laura (the lovely shop owner) has just produced their own range of ATC sized stencils and as I'm extremely lucky (along with Deborah and Amanda) to be on the shop DT, we got some to try out and all I can say is I fell in love with them straight away!


So, for my MMW creation, I've used a lot of Thats Crafty! stencils especially the 'bubbles' one, this is going to be a big favourite with everyone.

Thats Crafty! White Greyboard for the base, background was all Gelatos on Gesso (using a baby wipe to remove the colour through the stencils). Stencils are Thats Crafty!, Crafters Workshop, Tim Holtz and Stencilgirl, Decoart Crackle paste, Distress Inks, Faber Castel Pitt pen in black, Bee Crafty Banksy Hope stamp and a Prima messy writing stamp.
White splatters were done with a white Neocolor II.

    Utterly gorgeous - the layers of colour are simply beautiful, and the spatter gives it a lovely textural feel. Those bubbles are definitely a must-have.
