Mindy Lacefield Girl

Hi everyone,

I'm joining in with Sunday Sketches today with a painting in the style of Mindy Lacefield. Well I say style, it's the closest I could get though it was only my second attempt so please be kind!
I found it such a hard style to attempt as it's completely different to how I normally draw my faces but there's something I'm really drawn to in her artwork.

Bockingford Water colour paper, Neocolors II

I'll be back later as it's the second Sunday in the month it's MMW time ;)

Hope you like it

  4. Ah, how sweet is this Donna! That sweet bitty bird is trying to cheer her up. It's working on me anyway. I feel very cheery now. I don't know the style, but I think you've got a great sketch here, colored wonderfully.
