Steampunk Kitty!

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all okay out there on this cold,wet day in the UK...just for a change of course, usually the weather is sooooo tropical ;)

I haven't done anything remotely steampunk/industrial like for ages when the sudden notion of doing a steampunk kitty came to me,why not I thought?! Tell you what though, bit of a devil to photograph for some reason, not sure if you can see the crackle effect on kitty's eyes very well.








That's Crafty! MDF door hanger, That's Crafty! Cogs Dinky stencil, X-cut cogs die cuts, Paperartsy and Distress paints, Paperartsy grunge paste, Paperartsy Treasure Wax, Decoart Crackle glaze, Prima stamps(background).

    I can tell from the look in Kitty's eyes that he is not sure if his name is Giggle or if he's just a number. Or maybe it's just his hat that is a number. Feeling such a dilemma makes a cat's eyes go BIG. Delightfully creative door hanger Donna! Steampunk rules and CATS rule!

    I looked at your list of item used in this post and I am blown out of the park. I have none of them, and have only started hearing about them. I am so far behind the times. I created collage cards in 95 and 96 and have not retuned to it til now. Sold all of my hundreds of stamps....BAD IDEA! Boy, do I regret that. This is such a cute design and I love the background. I have never hear of Steampunk but I think I need to read about it. Hope you have a nice weekend after one more day.
