Hello everyone,
Well its Friday again and its an absolute shocker of a day here in the UK,which has made photographing my Christmas tag a real chore. I eventually settled on the patio door as there's hardly any light at all today,so I have taken a few photos to try and give you the idea of the sparkle and shine on the tag. Oh the joys of the darker days in the Winter.......must construct that lightbox soon or else you will not see anything!
Over on lovely Loll's blog she is doing 12 days of Christmas tags so after the equally lovely Ingrid persuaded me, I have made a size 8 tag for it using some of Ingrid's die cut snowflakes too.
Ive tried my best to capture all the sparkle but its not been easy but you get the general idea....hopefully!

Fresco and distress metallic paint for the background, holographic embossing powder on the snowflakes,puff paint mixed with distress rock candy for the snow effect. The little houses are my own stamped in various colours of Memento inks.

ReplyDeleteWeather overhere in the Netherlands is also terrible, so I can imagine getting a good photo is a chore! But I think you did succeed, because I can see the glimmer and colors on your tag are great! Love it, you combine things that most would not and bring them together! Have a good weekend!

These house are stinkin' cute and paired up with the snowflakes is an unexpected but gorgeous combo. Love the shimmer in the background. Yes daylight is not great at the moment; the weather is dull and grey.I know what you mean when taking photos is a challenge of its own...
