Hi everyone,
Well this Friday came around quick didn't it?!
Today I have a card for you....no don't adjust your screens I said a card! This is only the second one I have ever made, having made one for my mum on Mother's Day earlier in the year.
This is for my father in law as sadly my own dad passed away just over a year ago,he is much missed everyday. I thought I would make this so my OH could give his dad this on Sunday.
To all you card makers out there.....how on earth do you keep a white card white?!? The amount of times I washed my hands during this but I still managed to get a little smudge on it!
I am entering this in Frilly and Funkie,For all our fathers challenge here
Image from crafty individuals, metal tape, tim holtz embossing folders, treasure gold, distress inks.
Hope you like it

As I commented just now on your most recent lovely winged creature, I thought I should probably check back in here. I don't normally go back to a post I have already seen and commented on...way too many new ones to visit and so little time...you know.

What a beautifully designed and executed card Donna. As for white? I feel and share your pain! The only suggestion would be to cover up the white areas with copy paper until you are finished. Thank you so much for joining us at Frilly and Funkie. Jenny x
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenny,I will try that tip....or buy black cards next time!!
