Tea roses are the best!

Hi everyone,

Well,as I mentioned in my previous post,I am now the proud owner of Mr Holtz's 3rd book. Seriously gorgeous it is as you would expect. I thought I can now join in with the challenges over at Studio L3,CC3C challenge 3 here generously sponsored by Inspiration Emporium which has some fab stuff.

This one is all about using the pinecone die for making tea roses. I must say this is really tricky but if you can get the knack of doing it,you can make the most wonderful vintage looking flowers. Yes you do really need to use a cocktail stick too. These were my first attempts so don't look too closely please!!

Distress inks, tissue tape, rust powder, crackle paint, rock candy glitter, stickles and loads of TH goodies for embellishments.

I did enjoy making this,so i hope you like it!

  16. Gorgeous tag. I love how you've used the Tim Holtz elements. I really like how you've added dots/spots of silver. I haven't seen that in many tags. It really brings a great element to your tag. Your gentlemen looks like he's going to walk right out of the tag. Your roses are beautiful. You have no reason to think they are any less beautifully made than anyone other roses that have been made. Great att.
